News: Authorities called to multi-vehicle collision on I-70 in NE Denver

DENVER, CO – Delays were expected Wednesday evening on Interstate 70 near northeast Denver due to a crash, according to the Denver Police Department.

The accident happened on the westbound side of the highway, prompting a closure of multiple lanes at Peoria Street at around 5:51 p.m.

While no information about the involved parties has been made available, officials said three vehicles were impacted, and no significant injuries were immediately reported.
