DENVER, CO – At least one person suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle collision outside of Ruby Hill Park Tuesday, Denver Police said.

Officers said they arrived at the intersection of South Platte River Drive and West Jewell Avenue before 12:30 p.m. Crews had to close the north and southbound directions of Platte starting at West Florida Avenue and ending at West Jewell.
Police have not been able to confirm the exact cause of the crash or state whether anyone was cited or could expect to face criminal charges.
