DENVER, CO – At least one person was left in serious condition as a result of a two-vehicle collision that took place west of Bear Creek Park on Monday.

The crash occurred before 2:15 a.m. in the area of 5500th block of West Hampden Avenue along U.S. 285 Highway, according to Denver police.

Police shut down the majority of all lanes to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation period.

Police have not specified the exact cause of the collision or announced any charges.
