News: Accident, delays reported on westbound I-270 near Commerce City

ADAMS COUNTY, CO – Emergency crews were dispatched to a collision Friday morning on Interstate 270 near Commerce City, according to Jayson Luber of Denver 7 Traffic.

The incident occurred on the westbound side of I-270 after Exit 2 to Vasquez Boulevard. It was first reported at about 7:37 a.m.

Authorities have not indicated the cause of the accident, but delays were observed from Interstate 70.

Motorists were advised to take westbound I-70 to northbound I-25 to get around the scene.
