News: 2-vehicle collision on I-70 in Denver sends person to hospital

DENVER, CO – EMS crews took one person to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision on eastbound I-70 near Havana Street Saturday.

Denver Police responded to the scene after 7 a.m. After arriving, officers and crews shut down most of the lanes for the scene clearance process and left one lane open to accommodate the traffic flow.

Officers said the hospitalized individual is recovering from serious injuries.

Police are working to determine the exact cause of the crash.
