DENVER, CO – Two pedestrians were left in serious condition following a hit-and-run collision in the East Hilltop neighborhood on Friday.
Denver police said the incident happened before 7:30 p.m. The driver struck the pedestrians with their vehicle as they were making a right turn from southbound North Ash Street onto eastbound 8th Avenue.
The driver did not render aid or call 911 and immediately took off. Police believe the suspect was operating a 2015 to 2020 Black Chevrolet Tahoe. The SUV sustained minor-to-moderate damage on the front passenger’s side.
