DENVER, CO – A two-vehicle collision injured two individuals and ended in another person getting detained by Denver police Monday.

Officers and ambulance crews responded to the 1800th block of South Quebec Way before 8:45 p.m. EMS took one person to a local hospital, where they are recovering from serious injuries. The other occupant was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Authorities have not disclosed the exact cause of the crash or commented on the specifics of why one person was detained.
