News: 2-auto wreck in Congress Park sends person to hospital

DENVER, CO – EMS crews rushed one person to a local hospital after a two-vehicle crash that happened in Congress Park Friday, Denver police said. 

The collision occurred at the intersection of Colorado Boulevard and East 9th Avenue. After arriving, authorities shut down Colorado between East 9th Avenue and East 11th. 

It appears the hospitalized person is recovering from serious injuries. The police department started an investigation and does not have additional information at this time.
