DENVER, CO – One driver sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle collision that happened in the Central Park area on Friday.
Denver police first reported the crash after 2:30 a.m. and said it took place at the intersection of westbound I-70 and Central Park Boulevard. EMS crews took the injured driver to a hospital for treatment of their serious injuries.

The other driver appeared to be uninjured and stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
The exact cause of the collision is under investigation.
