DENVER, CO – One person died as a result of a single-vehicle collision that happened outside of the Denver International Airport on Wednesday.
Denver police first announced the single-vehicle collision at 9:46 p.m., saying it took place in the area of East 56th Street and Peña Boulevard. One person was initially in serious condition, but shortly succumbed to their injuries.

Police are actively working to determine the cause of the crash.
