DENVER, CO – One person was hospitalized for serious injuries following a hit-and-run collision that happened north of the Panorama Motel on Thursday.
Denver police first reported the crash at 2:46 a.m., stating it took place at the intersection of West 6th Avenue South Drive & Sheridan Boulevard. It was there that one driver collided with another vehicle and then fled the scene without rendering aid.

EMS crews transported one person to the emergency room, and police and crews stayed behind and closed at least one lane for the scene clean-up process. Drivers were told to anticipate delays during the closures.
Officers are working to pinpoint what the suspect looked like and what vehicle they were driving at the time of the crash.
